Adams described very accurately how to throw the ball towards the hitter by
swinging above the head without bending the elbow.
In his field of study, he was most
interested in discovering new diphtongues,
especially those containing many vowels sounds. Food-wise, he was very frugal;
just a hamdwhich
for lunch.
