In order to be able to play in a
small orchestra, Phil didn't think it was fair to get a floot by unlawful means, so in order to achoir it he asked a group of well-known singers if they had one to
spare.
They did have one for sale, but if
interested he had to request it formally by tactfully filling out an applicaution.
He thought this was a joke that would
take him some time to dijest.
